Justin Vernon and James Blake – you may think they wouldn’t necessarily work fabulously together but this collaborative track proves you wrong. Their fragile yet powerfully haunting vocals and beats intertwine naturally in this song entitled Fall Creek Boys Choir.
The auto-tuned ballad isn’t yet on iTunes, but you can sample the track above. According to BBC Radio 1, the collaboration came about through a “chance meeting at this year’s South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. Blake also mentioned that he and Vernon have worked on some other tracks together but aren’t yet sure whether they’ll become a formal release. Keep an eye out!
