It’s that time of year folks, with the official lineup for the 2018/2019 edition of Falls Festival dropping today.
Earlier this week, Falls Festival organisers promised that this year’s lineup was set to be a slam dunk, which undoubtedly sent dedicated music fans into a frenzy of excitement and anticipation. Now, we can see exactly what they were driving at, with a stunning lineup dropping earlier today.
Topping this bill for this year is none other than Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, who will undoubtedly be showcasing tracks from his upcoming Oxnard Ventura album. We’re also going to be seeing exclusive shows from Catfish And The Bottlemen, while Vance Joy, CHVRCHES, Hilltop Hoods, and Interpol also join the ranks.
Following a few years of rising fame thanks to a renewed interest in their hit ‘Africa’, Toto will also be coming along for the ride this year, as will 88RISING, Flight Facilities, Amy Shark, First Aid Kit, and Cashmere Cat, with the latter two performing exclusively at this year’s festival.
Following quite a bit of controversy earlier this year about gender equality on the Falls Festival lineup, organisers are this year happy to be presenting a bill that sees 48% of the acts listed featuring females.
