At a concert in Belgium last night Father John Misty closed his set by performing a short ‘cover’ of Coldplay’s “Clocks”. Check out fan shot footage of the odd cover below.

As his band began playing the tracks timeless intro Misty – AKA Josh Tillman – joined in, scatting his way through the first verse. Whilst he didn’t exactly sing the track, it’s still a bizarrely fun thing to watch.

As he finished the first ‘verse’ of his ‘cover’, the musician told the crowd “I just wanna thank y’all for coming,” before joking “This is my walk-off music from now on.”

Father John Misty is currently on tour behind his album God’s Favourite Customer. He visited Australia earlier this year where he accepted his Grammy for Best Recording Package on stage in Sydney. The artist also recently released a live EP in collaboration with Jack White’s Third Man Records. Check out the video for “Mr. Tillman” below.
