Five Finger Death Punch singer Ivan Moody has announced that his company, Moody’s Medicinals, will now be making hand sanitiser to donate towards the fight against coronavirus.
The company mainly makes medicinal marijuana products, but the nice guy that he is, Moody has decided to make donations to charities in the US that support war veterans.
Moody has frequently spoken out on behalf of how veterans are treated in America, and has been a longstanding supporter of veterans’ support organisations.
All previous Moody’s Medicinals customers who have purchased products via their website will also receive a free CBD hand sanitiser spray. The sanitiser contains the recommended 70% alcohol ingredient for sanitization against COVID-19.
“Many people are experiencing the uncertainty of this moment, and none more so than our veterans. Over 10% of our veterans have PTSD in a given year. We have to make sure we are keeping our veterans in mind during this difficult time.”
You can also get some free hand sanitiser if you purchase the new line of Moody Medicinal’s Soothies, a vegan-friendly medicated lozenge.

Five Finger Death Punch released their new album F8 in late February this year, and the band were set to tour the US throughout spring.
They, like many other acts, have had their touring plans put on hold, as US health experts suggest that live gigs may not return until late 2021.

Moody joins a growing list of musicians assisting with the fight against the coronavirus.
Earlier this week Bono turned his attention to the pandemic, getting involved in the logistics of supplying frontline healthcare workers with personal protective equipment in Ireland.
Meanwhile, Billy Joel has announced that his foundation will help with foot assistance for those struggling to get a meal during the pandemic.
