“Australia… fancy a pint?” asked the Foo Fighters on social media, and I’m so excited by the prospect of a Foo Fighters branded bar and beer, I won’t even point out that pints are traditionally a Melbourne or a British thing, and not dreadfully common in NSW.
The Foo Fighters Hotel opens on Wednesday night in Sydney, taking over a bar that was once named The Hollywood Hotel during a simple time, while Fooie Bar launches Sunday at the former Cherry Bar in Melbourne. This will be exclusive merch, trivia, drinks, and random giveaways.
Young Henry’s are supplying a Foo-branded beer too, in case you thought you’d be smashing VB or something.
