Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, has been busy on the music front lately, recently unveiling a short snippet of a cover of Jimmy Eat World’s ‘The Middle’.

Now she’s unveiled a playlist of some of her favourite songs, including lots of alt-rock classics and even the inclusion of a much-loved Australian band. They all appear on what’s she’s dubbed the “FBC Mixtape”.

Cobain shared the capsule-sized playlist via Twitter, including tracks such as The Vaselines’ ‘Son of a Gun’, which her father’s band famously covered, as well as Pavement’s ‘Cut Your Hair’.

Also included are Vincent Gallo’s ‘Honey Bunny’, Longpigs’ ‘She Said’, and The Jesus & Mary Chain’s ‘Perfume’, as well as ‘Get Free’, the breakthrough single from our very own The Vines.

It looks like good taste in music runs in the family.
