Freebass, the Manchester supergroup featuring  Joy Division/New Order’s Peter Hook, The Stone Roses/Primal Scream’s Mani and Andy Rourke of The Smiths have their debut EP, Two Worlds Collide ready for release. After a painful gestation, the EP is ready five years after the three bass players had a yarn about getting a supergroup together. They are joined by guest musicians and vocals are provided by Tim Burgess of The Charlatans, the Mighty Wah’s Pete Wylie and drug smuggler turned writer Howard Marks.
