No need to worry about missing out on Knotfest this year, Aussies, as the festival is being brought online featuring concerts, interviews, and more from Slipknot, Underoath, and Code Orange.
Typically put on as an annual festival throughout North America and South America, Knotfest is heading online this year due to coronavirus restrictions.
Kicking off bright and early at 8AM AEST on Friday, May 29th, viewers will be able to stream both concerts and interviews from heavy metal icons Slipknot, post-hardcore collective Underoath, and metalcore outfit Code Orange.
The main act, Slipknot, will be streaming their 2019 set from their headline show at Belgium’s Graspop Festival, which will be followed by an exclusive interview from drummer Shawn “Clown” Crahan.

Next up, support act Underoath will be streaming a gig from 2016 that occurred around their They’re Only Chasing Safety album at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas. Frontman Spencer Chamberlin will be on board for an interview, shortly after.
Wrapping up the Knotfest will be Pennsylvania’s own Code Orange reviving their Last Ones Left: In Fear Of The End livestream from March, which saw the band staging themselves in an empty theatre. For the interview portion of their set, Slipknot’s Clown will be interviewing the outfit’s singer and drummer, Jami Morgan.
In addition to all the brilliance that’s bound to unfold, Knotfest’s website will contain a vast amount of content for you to deep dive into, including think pieces, as well as curated playlist, including interviews from Periphery, Body Count, August Burns Red, and more.
