It seems as though Glass Animals think their Australian audience are in need of a peanut butter vibe check. The band have announced that they will be returning to Australia for the first time since Falls Festival 2017/2018 for two intimate shows.

The ‘Gooey’ hitmakers will play one show at the Prince Bandroom in Melbourne on Monday, 18th November and Factory Theatre in Sydney on Tuesday, 19th November. We couldn’t be any more ecstatic.

Glass Animals have been keeping it lowkey this year. Unfortunately, drummer Joe Seaward was hit by a truck whilst cycling in Dublin last year. The injuries sustained during the accident forced Seaward to undergo several surgeries and undertake a lengthy road to recovery — which involved learning how to walk, talk and drum again.

“A year ago my best bud joe couldn’t walk or speak…much less play the drums. but look at him now, the band wrote in a Facebook post. “Thanks to everybody who supported him in any way.”

Tickets for the shows are set to go on sale this Wednesday, 30th October. You can find all the relevant information below.
