It might only be October, but you might want to start making plans for March, with the lineup for the 2019 edition of Golden Plains dropping tonight.

Returning for its 13th year, Golden Plains 2019 is set to feature some of the biggest names in music making their way over to Victoria next March.

Headlined by none other than Madchester legends Happy Mondays, Shaun Ryder and co. will keep you in fine company as they bust out some of their finest hits on Sunday evening.

Following closely behind is the enigmatic Scottish rockers The Jesus & Mary Chain, whose noisy sound will be welcomed back with open arms by an eager crowd.

Liz Phair also joins the bill, having just released a 25th anniversary edition of her Exile In Guyville debut, while Four Tet will be providing the electronic eclecticism as well, performing cuts from 2017’s New Energy.

Of course, it doesn’t stop there though, with the likes of reformed rockers Magic Dirt on the lineup, alongside international heavyweights such as Beach House, The Internet, Khruangbin, and New Zealand’s Marlon Williams.

It’s all set to go down from Saturday, March 9th to Monday, March 11th at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre, and with a lineup this good, you know it’s going to be a memorable affair.

As always, tickets to next year’s festivities are only available through a ballot, which is open now. Be sure to put your hat in the ring to be in with the chance to score a chance to see one of Golden Plains’ biggest lineups ever.
