Gomez are set to make their return to Australia later this year, heading down under for the 20th anniversary of their second album, Liquid Skin.

Back in September of 1999, Gomez unleashed Liquid Skin. Their second album in barely 18 months, the group had already made a name for themselves in their native England, but it was Liquid Skin that helped put them on the map around the world.

Armed with singles like ‘We Haven’t Turned Around’, ‘Rhythm & Blues Alibi’, and the oddly-placed ‘Bring It On’, the album charted globally, hitting the top ten in Australia, and even being named Richard Kingsmill’s favourite album of the year.

Now, following an Aussie tour in 2018 which saw them play Bring It On in full, Gomez are set to return to our shores to give Liquid Skin the 20th anniversary treatment.

Kicking things off with a performance at Melbourne’s The Lost Lands festival, the group are set to hit up Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane, playing the iconic album in full, along with a handful of other classic tunes.

While Gomez are no stranger to Aussie shores, these shows will undoubted be a rare chance to see the group play these beloved tracks in full, so don’t miss the opportunity to catch them live when they return to Australia this November.

Tickets to Gomez’s Liquid Skin 20th anniversary tour go on sale from Tuesday, May 7th, with tickets for The Lost Lands festival going on sale in the near future.
