Good Things, the newest addition to Australia’s list of music festivals, has gotten everyone talking over the last few days thanks to a number of cryptic posters that have been appearing around the place. Now, everything is starting to get a bit clearer, with the festival revealing a few more of the pertinent details.
Earlier this week, a number of posters began to appear around Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne that promised ‘Good Things’ were coming in December of 2018. Soon, it was confirmed that the inaugural Good Things festival was set to kick off later this year, but very little information was provided otherwise.
Now, the festival had given us a bit more information to go on, announcing that their debut year will see the festival hitting up Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane over the course of three days this December.
While Good Things have also announced that their full lineup is set to drop at 11am, on Thursday, August 23rd, the festival has already done us a solid of announcing the first act on this year’s bill.
After some fans had already begun to surmise that this new fest was set to be a bit of a rowdy affair, their guesses have been all but confirmed after English pop-punkers Boston Manor were announced as the first act on this year’s bill.
While we’ve still got a bit of time left before we learn which acts will be joining Boston Manner at Good Things, a fake lineup has already begun doing the rounds.
Organisers have already stated that this lineup – which includes the likes of A Day To Remember, I Prevail, and Falling In Reverse – is indeed a hoax, but considering how convincing some of these fakes are looking, we’re really hoping that it might be at least some indication of what to expect next Thursday.
