With just under a month until this year’s edition of Groovin The Moo kicks off, we’ve received the sad news from the festival that one of their international acts has been forced to withdraw from his upcoming Aussie tour. But fear not, because the festival have already announced a replacement!
Taking to social media today KYLE (also known as Superduperkyle) announced that he has to withdraw from this year’s Groovin The Moo festival in order to finish working on his debut album.
“I’m super bummed to say that I won’t be going to Australia to tour next month,” Kyle wrote on Twitter this afternoon. “Doing so would push my album back and I’ve waited too long to give this music to you guys. THE ALBUM MUST DROP.”
“To my Aussie fans I promise I will see you soon. Sorry and I love you.”

While this news has undoubtedly left quite a few Aussie fans a little disappointed (with all four of KYLE’s sideshows sadly cancelled as well), Groovin The Moo have already announced a replacement, with DJ Yella of N.W.A joining the bill, alongside Playboy T.

Kicking off his career back in the early ’80s, DJ Yella soon became a member of the World Class Wreckin’ Cru before helping to found the highly-influential N.W.A in 1986. Needless to say, being able to witness a world class musician such as DJ Yella is undoubtedly one pretty special experience for any lucky punters heading along to Groovin The Moo this year.
Tickets to Groovin The Moo are on sale now, alongside with tickets to sideshows from international acts, including Aminé, Lady Leshurr, and Portugal. The Man.
