They’re one of the most iconic punk bands in Australian music history, and now, the Hard-Ons are back with a brand new album, single, and national tour.

It’s hard to believe, but we’re just a couple of years away from the 40th anniversary of Sydney punk veterans the Hard-Ons.

Formed by Peter “Blackie” Black, Ray Ahn, and Keish de Silva in the early ’80s, the group quickly made waves on the Aussie scene, tearing up stages with tunes like ‘Girl In The Sweater’ and ‘All Set To Go’.

Now though, five years on from the release of their last record, the Hard-Ons have returned with a brand new album and tour.

Announced recently, So I Could Have Them Destroyed serves as the 12th record from the Hard-Ons, and features a blistering 12 tracks in the space of just half and hour.

Most excitingly though, this album also marks the first record since 2000’s This Terrible Place to feature the work of Keish, who has been performing with the band in recent years alongside Blackie, Ray Ahn, and drummer Murray Ruse.

With the new record out via Music Farmers on October 11th, they’ve just released their brand new single, ‘Harder And Harder’, which shows the group at their ferocious, melodic best.

To celebrate the upcoming release of the record, the Hard-Ons have also shared dates for extensive Australian tour, which will give old and new fans the chance to experience these Aussie punk legends onstage, doing what they do best.

The tour kicks off in Melbourne this November, and will head around the country before wrapping up with a free show in Wollongong in mid-December.

Tickets are on sale now, so be sure to pre-order the group’s new album, and catch them when they hit up your neck of the woods.
