English singer-songwriter Harry Styles was reportedly robbed at knifepoint while in London for the 2020 Brit Awards.

Ahead of his appearance at the 2020 Brit Awards, Harry Styles had his evening shaken up a bit while walking through Hampstead in London.

The pop singer was allegedly confronted by a man wielding a knife, as the Mirror reports. Apparently, the man approached Styles and demanded that he give him money.

Luckily, Styles played it smart and gave in to the robbers demands, resulting in Styles being able to walk away unharmed. Sources say that he was, understandably, left “very shaken up afterwards”.

“He actually played it pretty cool, quickly giving the assailant cash, keeping himself and the guy calm and getting the situation over with,” reveal sources via the Mirror.

Although no suspects have been arrested at the time, the Metropolitan Police told E! News that they are currently investigating the robbery.

“Officers were contacted on Saturday, 15 February regarding the incident which happened at 23.50hrs on Friday, 14 February,” the police report.

“It was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and threatened him with a knife. The victim was not injured, however cash was taken from him.”

Despite the frightening shake up, Styles still made his scheduled appearance at the 2020 Brit Awards where he was up for the awards of British Male Solo Artist and British Album of the Year. He also managed to take to the stage to beautifully perform his song, ‘Falling’.

Sadly, he walked away without winning the proposed awards, but it is imagined that Styles still feels lucky after the shocking incident earlier that day.

Harry Styles released his latest album Fine Line in December, which charted for three weeks as the #1 album on the ARIA charts.
