Hayley Williams is celebrating the physical release of her new solo album with listening parties around the world, including in Australia and New Zealand.

ANZ fans of the Paramore singer-songwriter can enjoy Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party on November 5th-6th at the following record stores: Melbourne’s Happy Valley, Sydney’s HUM Records, Auckland’s Southbound Records, Christchurch’s Penny Lane, Dunedin’s Relics, and Slowboat in Wellington.

Fans will be able to access free exclusive album posters, tote bags, and wristbands. They’ll be given the chance to enter a competition to win an exclusive mixtape CD signed by Williams herself.

They can grab a physical copy of Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party before its official release. And they can, of course, listen to the full album — “including unreleased music,” according to a social media post.

Fans are encouraged to contact their local record store for further information.

Rolling Stone gave Williams’ latest album a glowing 4.5/5 review.

“If Williams’ first two LPs saw her dipping her toe into solo work, Ego Death is a full plunge. Never has she sounded more certain or free. There is a kind of death here, one where the musician leaves behind bits of her past self, but more than anything, the album feels like a baptism. Williams emerges from the depths of her focused creation ready for a new life, where the possibilities are endless,” the publication praised.

Earlier this month, Williams appeared on The Tonight Show to perform a stunning rendition of “True Believer”, a standout track from Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.

“I mean, I’m never not ready to scream at the top of my lungs about racial issues,” Williams recently told The New York Times about the song. “I don’t know why that became the thing that gets me the most angry. I think because it’s so intersectional that it overlaps with everything from climate change to like LGBTQIA+ issues.”
