Hayley Williams has quietly launched a new band. The Paramore frontwoman’s latest project, Power Snatch, has arrived with a debut release titled EP1.

Per Variety, the group is a collaborative effort between Williams and longtime creative partner Daniel James – the producer who helped shape her acclaimed 2025 solo album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party. Together, they quietly started rolling out music late last year before officially revealing the project this week.

EP1 is a short but compelling offering that includes previously released material such as “DMs,” and new tracks like “Duh” and “Hole in the Ceiling,” marking the first full collection from Power Snatch. A single teased late last year, “Assignment”, has not been included on the EP, but is available to stream separately.

Fans had already spotted hints of the project online, with snippets surfacing on Power Snatch’s Instagram as far back as mid-2025, and the Bandcamp page quietly hosting music ahead of any formal announcement.

Williams has said she plans to juggle multiple creative outlets as she continues to evolve as an artist, including her work as a solo artist. Currently, she is gearing up for a major solo tour in support of Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, with dates across North America and Europe.

The album was nominated in four categories at yesterday’s Grammy Awards. After losing in her respective categories, Williams’ official Instagram HQ account posted a photo with the caption: “We’d like to thank the academy. (And it’s an honor to lose to The Cure anytime).”

Much like with Power Snatch, Williams put out Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party in an unconventional way, surprise-releasing 17 songs on her website last July and taking them down a little more than 24 hours later. She had given fans an access code as part of a new drop from her Good Dye Young hair dye company.

Following the songs’ removal, Williams officially released the album on digital as standalone tracks, encouraging fans to sequence the project as they best saw fit. She later released the album with 18 tracks (including the new addition “Parachute”) and tacked on two more songs as part of a physical album release.

Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, which also featured contributions from Jim-E Stack and James Harmon, became her highest-charting solo album to date, reaching No. 12 on the Billboard 200.
