A Melbourne venue has put the call out to the online world to help track down some trespassing vandals after they damaged the roof of the local live music institution.
The operators of Fitzroy’s The Old Bar, located in Johnston Street, took to their Facebook yesterday with a plea to the community to identify three individuals who were caught on tape trespassing onto the venue’s roof on Sunday afternoon.
The post, accompanied with the below photo, reads: “Anyone know any of these 3 pricks that just destroyed part of our roof? Please share it around because we would love to have a chat with them ASAP.”
Anybody with information is encouraged to contact The Old Bar or Police at Crime Stoppers via https://www.police.vic.gov.au/.
The venue additionally shared a “video of the cock pockets in action,” showing the three men scaling along the rooftops before one loiters behind and begins throwing materials off into the laneway below.
Local supporters of the venue have already rallied behind their online search, which had reached over 364 shares on Facebook (at the time of publication) along with a strong commentary discussing the incident, which has resulted in a hole in the roof, according to The Old Bar’s management.
