After months of speculation, rumour and fake posters donning spelling mistakes have floated around the internet, we now know when we can expect 2018’s Splendour In The Grass lineup to drop.

According to a countdown on the festival’s official lineup page, we’ll know who we’ll spend those glorious three winter days in Byron Bay dancing to next Wednesday, April 11th.

The countdown also features a pastel blue backdrop and a plume of baby pink smoke, alluding to the theme of what we can expect on the tour poster.

We’ve already speculated a few acts who could be potentially heading down under for the iconic festival, with Arctic Monkeys looking like they could be a shoe-in, considering they’ve got a  sizable gap between July 13 and August 8 in their calendar at the moment.

The future of the festival’s location was under fire last year, with the Gold Coast Bulletin reporting that the trial period was up, for the North Byron Parklands, with a decision needing to be made as to whether the area is capable of hosting events of this size without negatively impacting the local area.

Last year’s festival was headlined by the likes of LCD Soundsystem, HAIM, The XX and SchoolBoy Q. Splendour In The Grass will return to the North Byron Parklands this July between the 20th and 22nd.
