Unify Gathering mode commence: it looks like the Gippsland mosh fest is announcing its lineup next week.

If a count-down on the official site of the festival can be trusted, it looks like 08:00 hours next Tuesday is when we can expect an announcement.

Next years event will again take place in January, with expectations sky-high after a mammoth 2019 that included performances by Taking Back Sunday, Underoath and Karnivool, amoung others.

Last year saw an expansion of both capacity and festival length, with 3 days now playing host to the festivities of skinny-jean wearing death and hardcore fans.

The festival, which filled the void of Soundwave after it’s spectacular capitulation, has played host to some groundbreaking sets over the years by both international and local acts, with sets by the likes of Polaris, Northlane, Alexisonfire Knocked Loose all going down in festival folklore.

In addition, the festival has kept the spirit of local heavy music alive, giving new bands something to aim for, and mini-festivals a point of reference and inspiration.

Heavy times ahoy!
