The Blue Mountains’ favourite duo is well and truly back, with Hermitude announcing a run of Aussie tour dates this morning.

Ever since they burst onto the scene in the early ’00s, Hermitude have been one of those artists who garner exceptional levels of respect at every turn.

As the years have added up, so has their chart success, with their fifth album – 2015’s Dark Night Sweet Light – serving as their first ARIA #1.

Now, following the release of 2018’s ‘Stupid World’ and 2019’s ‘Every Day’, the duo have announced a massive world tour which will see them travel throughout Asia and North America, before they make a long-awaited homecoming this November.

Kicking off in Metro City in Perth, the tour will soon east to Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, and Brisbane, undoubtedly delighting countless fans in the process.

Of course, this news also comes ahead of the release of Hermitude’s new single ‘Northern Lights’, which features US co-writer Soaky Siren and rapper Vory to create “an old-school lovers’ duet”.

“Northern Lights’ is part homage to early dance and rave music, which we love, but also mixed with a signature Hermi drop that’s likely to blow a few wigs back!” the group explained. “Having Soaky Siren and Vory on the track is the icing on the cake that makes it shine.”

Tickets to Hermitude’s Aussie tour go on sale at 11am on Friday, June 21st, with a Live Nation pre-sale kicking off at 10am on Wednesday, June 19th, and running for 24 hours.
