Hockey Dad have been one of Australia’s fastest-rising indie-rock bands in the last few years. Following the release of their stunning surf-rock debut Boronia back in 2016, they’ve been hard at work working on album number two. Now, with the record about to drop, the boys have just gifted us another taste from the upcoming LP.
Announced a couple of months back, Blend Inn is the group’s second album, and is set to drop on February 9th. In addition to the album’s lead single, and absolute banger, ‘Homely Feeling’, the group have just dropped their latest single, ‘I Wanna Be Everybody’.
An infectious summer jam, ‘I Wanna Be Everybody’ sees the and at their best, delivering effortless hooks while serving as one of Australia’s most chilled out bands today.
To celebrate their new album, Hockey Dad are set to hit the road in March, bringing their beloved sounds to audiences all around the country. Following a number of shows selling out, the band have announced a bunch of new gigs for those who might have missed out on a ticket.
