Husky have been the flavour of the, well, past few months! Having supported the likes of Noah And The Whale, Kimbra and Gotye, played at Bigsound and announced as part of the St Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2012 line-up, Husky is showing no signs of pulling the brakes on this rollercoaster ride they’ve gotten themselves into. And now, their new album Forever So is about to be feature album on Triple J next week!

“The Woods” is aptly named, as its earthy sounds do remind one of dancing naked in the forest during a storm and being one with nature. No? Just us? What we mean to say is that it’s a cleverly-crafted folk-pop eargasm. With lashings of sweeping harmonies, rhythmic acoustic guitars and sparkling piano, not to mention a haunting choir-like vocal outro, “The Woods” is an excellent example of why Husky have garnered such hype.
