Ice Cube is slamming allegations made by The Daily Beast reporter Marlow Stern that he is anti-Semitic and once ordered his security entourage to beat up a rabbi in 2015.

The allegation resurfaced after the former N.W.A. rapper faced backlash for posting what many deemed to be anti-Semitic memes, along with a number of images connected to the controversial QAnon conspiracy theory movement.

In the article posted to The Daily Beast titled ‘Ice Cube’s Long, Disturbing History of Anti-Semitism’, Stern referred to a number of previous troubling incidents involving the hip-hop veteran, including the 2015 incident in which Stern alleged Ice Cube ordered the assault of a rabbi.

“It is hard to give Ice Cube the benefit of the doubt given the fact that his anti-Semitic activities have extended beyond the realm of the internet,” Stern wrote in the damning article.

“He’s an ardent supporter of Louis Farrakhan, one of the world’s most prominent anti-Semites, and, most troubling of all, the rapper and actor was accused in May 2015 of ordering his entourage to beat up a rabbi.”

According to TMZ, “Rabbi P. Taras” was at the MGM Detroit hotel in 2015 when he said he accidentally bumped into the rapper outside an elevator.

“Taras claims he said something like… hey, watch out—and the rapper/actor responded by having his boys attack. While he was getting stomped, Taras claims he heard several epithets. He thinks that’s because he was wearing a yarmulke,” the site reported.

The rabbi filed a $2 million lawsuit against Ice Cube for assault and battery, though the 51-year-old denied the claim.

As the article gained traction on social media, Ice Cube took to Twitter to call out Stern in a blunt post.

“The statement by Marlow Stern is a fuckin lie,” Cube began. “I never ordered my security to beat up anybody. Get your facts straight or I’ll see you in court you asshole.”

He then shared a photo of the reporter and wrote, “This is Marlow Stern, the punk that’s out there pushing that poison.” He also posted images of cease and desist letters to the journalist, including a demand for a retraction.

“Don’t play with me,” the rapper warned. “This is just phase one.”

In 2015, Ice Cube was accused of assaulting a rabbi outside of the MGM casino in Detroit for wearing a yarmulke. Although he was hit with a $2 million lawsuit, Cube has maintained his innocence. As a result, Cube fired back at Stern for continuing to associate him with the incident.

Ice Cube’s threats didn’t seem to bother Stern, who cheekily bit back, “Honestly, expected better from the dude who wrote ‘no vaseline'” – referring to the track from his 1991 album Death Certificate, in which he took aim at the N.W.A’s former manager Jerry Heller – who is Jewish – saying they “let a white Jew tell [them] what to do.”
