Iggy Pop has collaborated with Stumptown coffee on a signature blend. The brew is packaged in a black bag designed by Iggy himself. The minimalist bag features an illustration by Iggy and his autograph.

The beans reportedly boast hints of “dates, nutmeg, and a long, chocolatey finish.” The coffee is produced by a community located in Acheh, Sumatra, Indonesia; and processed by Ketiara Cooperative —an organic, female-run co-op. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Girls Rock Camp Alliance. Girls Rock Camp Alliance is an “international network of organizations which use the radical prism of music to empower youth who experience gender-based oppression.”

Unfortunately, the brew is only available in America, where you can find it in cafes or online.

Iggy took his lust for coffee to the next level in Jim Jarmusch’s latest film, The Dead Don’t Die. In the movie, Iggy makes a cameo as a caffeine-craving Zombie.

Last year, Iggy Pop sang the praises of American singer-songwriter Mitski, proclaiming her to be “The most advanced American songwriter that I know.”

“This young woman is really really really… she can do whatever she wants,” Pop shared on his BBC 6 Radio show. “She writes and sings and she plays too; her name’s Mitski.”
