Iron Maiden expand 2020 Legacy Of The Beast Australian tour

Earlier this month, we were rattled by news that iconic metal act Iron Maiden were returning to Australia for a slew of monolithic shows.

The band will be bringing their ferocious Legacy Of The Beast tour to Australian shores in May next year. Due to overwhelming demand, they’ve been forced to add an additional show in Melbourne at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, May 9th. Joining the previously announced shows at RAC Arena in Perth on Friday May 1st, Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Sunday, May 3rd, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, May 5th, Qudos Bank Arena on Thursday, May 7th, and finally Rod Laver Arena on Monday, May 11th.

“It’ll be four years since we were last in Australia, so we’re delighted to be making a return visit to present the Legacy Of The Beast Tour to all our fans there!” shares Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson.

“We’ve got all kinds of crazy things going on, including a replica Spitfire plane dominating the stage during ‘Aces High’, tons of pyro, a giant Icarus, muskets, claymores and some truly marvellous flame-throwers which I have a hell of a lot of fun with, as you will see!”

“And of course, we have Eddie, as you’ve never seen him before, and absolutely loads of other surprises,” he added. “I’ve had the time of my life playing with all these magnificent props on stage, it’s been fantastic, we can’t wait to bring this show to you!”
