Hermitude, Missy Higgins, WAAX lead the fifth instalment of Isol-Aid

Isol-Aid has been our knight in shining armour during this period of self-isolation. The virtual festival is back with its fifth instalment and they have recruited a roster of some of the finest names in international and Australian music.

This weekend from 1pm to 10pm on Saturday and 2pm to 9pm on Sunday a slew of cracker artists will treat us to 20-minute sets streamed live via their respective Instagram accounts. The artists then tag-team the next musician on the lineup, allowing you to revel in an afternoon of blissful music discovery.

Not only is it a god damn treat getting to witness our favourite musicians in a foreign context, there’s a sense of overwhelming community and connection that we so desperately yearn for.

The fifth instalment will be lead by Hermitude, Missy Higgins, WAAX, Frankie Cosmos, Deborah Conway, Tired Lion, Vera Blue and many, many more.

Isol-Aid is asking viewers to donate to a fundraiser set up for Support Act in an attempt to raise much-needed funds for an industry that’s felt a devastating blow from the COVID-19 pandemic.
