It looks as if a collaboration between Post Malone and Lil Uzi Vert is nigh.

Rumours hit a groundswell after Posty’s manager, Dre London, shared a video of the two rappers from five year ago to his Instagram account. The post alluded to a potential collab set to feature on Malone’s next project.

“I remember these two hustling from ground zero in 2015,” London wrote in the post. “To see the levels they’ve brought it to is amazing!! I know we got a lot of surprises on this next project, Maybe a Posty Vert idk.”

Post Malone has been dropping hints about his new record since the beginning of the year, revealing that he plans to “put it out as soon as [he] fucking can”. Posty’s last record, Hollywood’s Bleeding, arrived back in September. The album was embellished with a bunch of red hot collaborations, the most surprising came in the form of a collaborative track with Travis Scott and Ozzy Osbourne ‘Take What You Want’.

In other news, last month saw Post Malone crack off a Nirvana tribute set as a way to raise funds for coronavirus relief.

The set raised a whopping $2.5 million USD, a sum that was matched by Google at a 2:1 rate.

Say what you will about Posty but the man has chops. Pummelling through excellent renditions of  ‘Come As You Are’, ‘Heart-Shaped Box’, ‘About A Girl’ and stacks more. The set went for over an hour and saw Malone joined by blink-182 drummer Travis Barker — via isolation, of course.
