Acclaimed U.S. rapper Joey Bada$$ is returning to Australia to perform live in the country for the first time in five years.
After selling out shows in Sydney and Melbourne back in 2018, Joey is coming back for a string of Australian shows in January 2023. Beginning in Fremantle on Wednesday, January 4th, the rapper will then visit Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne (see full dates below).
Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 16th at 12pm local time. The Frontier Members presale begins on Wednesday, September 14th at 10am local time.
The tour is in support of his third studio album 2000, which was released in July and reached number 25 on the U.S. Billboard 200. 2000 featured guest appearances from the likes of Chris Brown, Westside Gunn, and Diddy.
The album was released almost 10 years to the day after his classic mixtape 1999, with 2000 planned as a sequel to that record. Critics and fans alike welcomed the return of Joey on 2000 after a five-year hiatus since the release of his second studio album All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ in 2017.
