Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has released a Christmas 7″ today. It features the musician’s personal takes of two holiday classic, with Australian legend C.W. Stoneking joining Homme on one of the tracks.

The first track off the single is Homme’s acoustic take on “Silent Night” with Australian blues icon C.W. Stoneking joining him on vocals. The other side feature Homme and his wife Brody Dalle reading “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas” with their “Three little elves” (read: children).

Proceeds from the 7″ go towards Homme’s charity the Sweet Stuff Foundation, and Australian charity Support Act. Both charities support musicians with illness or disability. Support Act also recently partnered with Levi’s and a bunch of Aussie artists to create special merch and raise awareness of mental health issues within the Australian music industry.

Josh Homme was recently in the country with Queens Of The Stone Age touring behind their 2017 album Villains. C.W. Stoneking supported the band on the tour. He also recently contributed a new track to the Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack.
