One of Brissy’s favourite four-pieces The Jungle Giants have announced they’ll be hitting the road for a big Aus/NZ tour this August in support of their new record Quiet Ferocity, the follow-up to their 2015 sophomore album Speakerzoid.

Kicking off on August 18, the tour will see the band take in a bunch of capital cities, with a few extra stops in between, as well as jetting over to New Zealand for a gig in Auckland. Better yet, some of the stops will be all ages, giving the youngins a chance to get in on the act.

They’ve chosen their support acts nicely too, and will be joined by some excellent acts in talented sibling pair Lastlings and Adelaide’s triple j Unearthed winners Heaps Good Friends.

Entirely self-recorded by the band, Quiet Ferocity is on its way July 7, and frontman Sam Hales is pretty excited to hit the road and get the tracks like ‘Feel The Way I Do’ out there live.

“For us, this is a really exciting time to experiment with new sounds and push the set into a new place,” he says. “This record has been a really simple transition into a live set, and we can’t way to play the new songs.”
