Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have enlisted the help of Donald Trump to release rapper A$AP Rocky, who has been detained in a Swedish jail over an altercation that took place in Stockholm last month.
Rocky is currently in solitary confinement and has been behind bars for over two weeks, where he has been denied phone call and visitation privileges. The arrest has sparked a worldwide call for the release of the rapper. Now the king and queen of pop culture and the president of the United States have stepped in.
As TMZ reports, once Kanye learned that A$AP was behind bars, he urged Kim to get in contact with her connections at The White. Kim got Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, on the dog and bone and actioned a plan to free A$AP. The information has since been taken to Donald Trump himself, who has apparently knowledged that something is rotten in the state of Stockholm.
Swedish officials are scheduled to make the decision as to whether they’ll charge Rocky over the assault or release him. However, TMZ has noted that there is “real fear prosecutors might delay their decision … and keep [Rocky] in custody” for another fortnight.
