Kanye West has continued to deliver good news to his fans as part of his #WESTDAYEVER series of tweets, now announcing a brand spanking new studio album called God’s Country.

Not only that, he’s teased a new track which appears to be the first tune from the forthcoming album – titled ‘Wash Us In The Blood’. The tune will be the first new music from West since 2019 album Jesus Is King.

Yeezy uploaded a 10-second snippet of the track, and suggested that it will be released in the next 24 hours.

“KANYE WEST ARTHUR JAFA PROJECT 02 WASH US IN THE BLOOD FROM THE FORTHCOMING ALBUM GOD’S COUNTRY TODAY,” he wrote… all in caps!

It’s not the first time we’ve heard about ‘Wash Us In The Blood’ or God’s Country either. In an April interview with GQ, the rapper and producer mentioned the name of the track.

Then Arthur Kafra, a visual collaborator who looks set to take care of the visuals on this new track, dropped the name God’s Country on Instagram Live.

It follows the long-awaited official release of the video for ‘Spaceship’, a track that was originally put out on his debut album The College Dropout in 2004.

In light of the Black Lives Matter movement gaining momentum, West recently put his money where his mouth is, donating $2 million to the families of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd, victims who were murdered at the hands of police brutality.

He also took the time today to congratulate his wife Kim Kardashian West for becoming a billionaire after selling a 20% stake in her KKW cosmetics line.

“I am so proud of my beautiful wife Kim Kardashian West for officially becoming a billionaire You’ve weathered the craziest storms and now God is shining on you and our family,” he tweeted.
