The Kanye West-owned apparel company Yeezy is suing an unpaid summer intern for posting confidential photos on Instagram.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Kanye West and Yeezy are suing intern Ryan Inwards for breach of contract and conversion.
Reportedly, a complaint filed last week revealed that Inwards signed a non-disclosure agreement that contained a USD $500,000 liquidated damages provision.
The non-disclosure agreement prohibits disclosing or disseminating confidential information on social media, and Yeezy is arguing that Inwards shared non-public images.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Inwards failed to remove the images despite receiving multiple cease and desist letters.
On top of the $500,000 in liquidated damages, Yeezy is also seeking punitive damages off the back of the belief that Inwards is acting maliciously.
The company is also reportedly seeking an injunction mandating that he both remove the images and be banned from making similar posts in the future.

In other news, West has reportedly separated from wife of six years, Kim Kardashian.
Although the split is still yet to be confirmed by the couple, Page Six reported earlier this month that Kardashian had hired high-profile attorney Laura Wasser to assist with the divorce.
“They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” a source reportedly told the publication. “Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”
According to Page Six, the pair did not spend the holiday season together, with Kanye staying at his Wyoming ranch and Kardashian heading to Los Angeles to celebrate with her family instead.
“Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done,” the source revealed.
