Footage has emerged that appears to show Kanye West ripping into Chance the Rapper during a studio session.

The video clip was reportedly leaked from an upcoming documentary on West’s yet to be released album Donda.

The documentary is said to have been filmed last year at West’s property in Wyoming.

The footage appears to depict West becoming frustrated at Chance during a recording session for the album, eventually telling him to “sit his ass down and listen to the album or leave.”

West’s friend and collaborator Dame Dash, who narrates the clip, explained that Chance may have been “triggering” West.

My thing was, like, get rid of the people who are triggering him, just get ’em out of here and let’s just have fun being creative,” said Dash.

“So, you know, Kanye is finishing his album and there’s people around. Chance, honestly, because of what he was reading, he came through just to check Kanye. You know, again, Kanye deals with his issues at all times. They got into it, but they worked it out.”

“At the end of the day, Chance was there just to be a friend,” he concluded.

The pair appeared to reconcile quickly, with the video showing them posing for pictures together after the spat.

Neither West or Chance has responded to the clip as yet.

Back in July, Chance publicly supported West’s bid for US president.

“Yall trust Biden more than yall trust Ye. I think I understand why, I just don’t feel the same way,” he said at the time.
