This year is going to be a big one for Karnivool, with the Perth rock icons announcing their first national tour in three years.

If you’re a fan of Karnivool, you might have noticed that the last few years have been a little bit… empty.

It’s currently been almost six years since their last piece of music, and three years since their last national tour.

Sure, we’ve seen them support the likes of Deftones, and their small run of dates in the lead-up to this year’s UNIFY Gathering all sold out, but we’ve been missing Karnivool’s name plastered upon marquees all over the country.

Now, with 2019 well and truly heating up, Karnivool have announced The Praxis Tour, which will see them touring all over the country through May and June.

Kicking things off in Bunbury on May 16th, the group will hit up Darwin and the Sunshine Coast for a couple of festival appearances before things really heat up.

Visiting Brisbane, Byron Bay, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong, Melbourne, and Frankston, the group will them bring it all back home for a performance in Fremantle on June 8th.

While there’s no word yet as to whether there’s new music on the way from Karnivool, we did recently receive some new music from Ian Kenny’s other project, Birds Of Tokyo, so stay tuned.

Tickets to these upcoming shows, which feature Southeast Desert Metal in the support slot, are on sale now through the band’s website.
