Kings of Leon have apologised to fans over a casting call recently put out by a production company for their latest video, which asked for “characters with scars, pockmarked skin, physical abnormalities or deformities” to feature. No doubt realising that picking on cripples and ugly people is pretty low, they’ve unreservedly apologised for it, claiming they knew nothing of the casting company’s actions.

Guitarist Matthew Followill told London tabloid rag The Sun “We were really embarrassed about it but we had nothing to do with it. They put it out and as soon as we read it we were humiliated and phoned the managers. We were furious.”
