KOL guitarist Matthew Followill has been injured in a yachting accident while the band was on a short break from touring. Who knew the life of luxury and fortune could impose such perils upon the darlings of modern rock n’ roll?!
Don’t worry though, Matthew Followill managed to escape with just a broken toe, revealing to UK paper The Sun “I ran into a chair. There was a beer falling off a table and I ran to grab it. When I ran over two toes went this way and the other ones went (the other way). I painted the toenail green just to be funny, because it was so heinous.” So like any good musician would, he prioritised the beer’s safety over his own.
Reportedly fellow KOL member and cousin Nathan injured his shoulder while jumping off the boat. Take it easy guys, save the injuries for the stage where they count!
