Kings of Leon have announced their return to Australia and New Zealand in 2027, with Ocean Alley joining the US rockers for a run of shows across February and March.

The tour follows the announcement of the band’s tenth studio album, O My Beloved, which is set for release on November 6th, and will kick off with a headline performance at Auckland’s Live At The Domain on February 24th. While in Aotearoa New Zealand, they’ll also play Electric Avenue, which is set for February 26th-27th.

They’ll then make their way to Australia with a show at Sydney’s new Sydney Summertime concert series on February 28th, before moving to Brisbane’s Showgrounds on March 3rd and Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on March 5th.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 1pm (local) on Tuesday, October 27th. Fans who pre-order O My Beloved by 4pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, October 21st, will receive access to an exclusive presale beginning 12pm (local) on Thursday, October 22nd.

Mastercard and Vodafone presales for Australian shows, and a Westpac Mastercard presale for the New Zealand show, will also begin at 12pm (local) on Thursday, October 22nd. A Live Nation presale will follow from 12pm (local) on Friday, October 23rd.

The Auckland performance will mark the return of Live At The Domain following its inaugural event earlier this year, which featured Good Charlotte, Yellowcard, Tadpole and Highly Suspect. The outdoor concert series is supported by the New Zealand Government’s Events Attraction Package and Auckland Council Events.

The Sydney show, meanwhile, makes Kings of Leon the second headline act confirmed for the inaugural program. The Strokes were previously announced to headline the opening event on February 20th, alongside Beck, Courtney Barnett and Promiseland. The Sydney Summertime show will be an all-ages event, with free admission for children aged 12 and under, and discounted youth tickets for those aged 13-17.

Australian favourites Ocean Alley will join Kings of Leon as special guests across the newly announced dates, less than a year after their biggest headline tour of their own.

Kings of Leon’s forthcoming album, O My Beloved, will arrive on November 6th via Love Tap Records and marks the band’s first full-length release since 2024’s Can We Please Have Fun. Across 13 tracks, the record sees the band take a more personal approach, drawing on childhood memories, family and the experiences that have shaped their career.

The band offered fans a first taste of the album in September with lead single “My Whole World”, before celebrating the announcement with an intimate hometown show in Nashville.
