KISS have been forced to change their Aussie tour plans ever-so slightly, rescheduling the Perth date of their upcoming trek down under.

This coming weekend was supposed to see the arrival of hard rock icons KISS, who would be kicking off the Australian leg of their End Of The Road tour in Perth.

Sadly, an unexpected illness has seen the group reveal that they’ll be delaying the start of their tour by just a few days, rescheduling their Perth date for the end of their Australian journey.

According to a statement shared today, frontman Paul Stanley has found himself stricken down with a bad case of influenza, with doctors advising him to rest up for a few days and not make the long trip from Los Angeles to Perth.

“With the expectation of Australian audiences high, KISS don’t want to not give 100% and so have made changes to the Australian and New Zealand dates,” a statement explains.

So what does this mean for Australian fans? Well, for most of the local leg of the KISS Army, the tour dates remain unchanged. However, the opening Perth leg of the tour has been moved from Saturday, November 16th and will now take place on Tuesday, December 3rd.

All tickets and VIP Packages to the original November 16th concert are still valid for the rescheduled date, though patrons unable to attend the new show are advised to contact Ticketek for a refund.

Meanwhile, fans in New Zealand are undoubtedly feeling worse off, with the band cancelling their Auckland show completely. Originally planned to take place on December 3rd, the show has been squeezed out of their itinerary, though the band explain that they’ll make it up to their Kiwi fans at a later date.
