The Kooks boys are back and have announced the release date for their upcoming album for mid September. It’s been three long, ‘Kook-less’ years since their last album so fans are well and truly ready for another fix. As a sneak preview, two tracks ‘Junk of the Heart (Happy)’ and the featured track here ‘Saboteur’ have been scattered throughout the web-o-sphere for all the world to see.

The Kooks’ lead man Luke Pritchard has described his band as “an album band and this is a journey you come on with us.” Going by this track, the the next album will include more piano-heavy tracks, a smidge of 60s psychedelia and of course the usual Kooks’ British rock sensibilities.
