The dates, venues, and lineup details for Laneway Festival 2016, one of the most eagerly anticipated annual events on the festival calendar, have finally dropped, with Laneway’s 12th edition coming to Singapore, Auckland, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Fremantle.

Once again, organisers promise this year’s lineup will be an assortment of some of the music scene’s best and brightest bands and artists, with the Laneway 2016 lineup set to be announced at 9am AEST Tuesday, 22nd September, so make sure you stay tuned for that.

It’s not just going to be about the music, either. Organisers are making sure Laneway 2016 is a community event, with local bars, restaurants, designers, and visual artists assembling in each territory to ensure every detail is accounted for.

Already we’ve had a couple of names leak their place on the lineup and things are certainly on the right track. Back in June, Scottish producer Hudson Mohawke revealed he’d be bringing his exciting new live show to Laneway ’16 and Canadian duo Purity Ring leaked their place back in July.
