It’s that time of year again and sure enough, the St Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2016 lineup is just as organisers promised, an assortment of some of the music scene’s best and brightest bands and artists, including Grimes, Battles, FIDLAR, CHVRCHES, Shamir, and more.

Punters can also look forward to appearances from the likes of The Internet, Tobias Jesso Jr, High Tension, Magical Cloudz, Thundercat, East India Youth, Violent Soho, Flume, Japanese Wallpaper, The Smith Street Band, and Hermitude.

As we previously reported, the lead-up to the lineup drop saw a couple of big names leak their place. Back in June, Scottish producer Hudson Mohawke revealed he’d be bringing his exciting new live show to Laneway ’16 and Canadian duo Purity Ring leaked their place back in July.

The dates, venues, and lineup details for Laneway Festival 2016, one of the most eagerly anticipated annual events on the festival calendar, were announced earlier this month, with Laneway’s 12th edition heading to Singapore, Auckland, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Fremantle.

It’s not just going to be about the music, either. Organisers are making sure Laneway 2016 is a community event, with local bars, restaurants, designers, and visual artists assembling in each territory to ensure every detail is accounted for.

Readers can check below for the full St Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2016 lineup, as well as all dates and ticketing details. Laneway 2016 tickets are set to hit sale 9am Wednesday, 30th September. Head to the official Laneway website for more info.
