Laneway Festival is giving music fans even more to look forward to in 2027, with another wave of sideshows announced ahead of the festival’s February return.

Kim Petras, ADÉLA, Jane Remover and Danny L Harle are among 12 international acts confirmed for headline performances, with Handsome Tours and Laneway Presents revealing the latest run of dates today (November 4th).

The announcement adds to an already impressive sideshow schedule, which includes previously announced performances from Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams. Her intimate solo shows at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and Melbourne’s Forum Theatre sold out almost instantly, setting the tone for what is shaping up to be a huge month of live music.

With multiple promoters presenting shows around the festival, the latest announcement adds another 12 artists to the mix, spanning pop, post-punk, alternative rock and experimental music.

Grammy Award-winning pop star Kim Petras leads the new additions, bringing her high-energy live show to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on February 15th and Melbourne’s Forum on February 18th, following the release of her record Detour.

Rising pop star ADÉLA has also licked in two headline dates, performing at the Enmore Theatre on February 11th and Melbourne’s Forum on February 15th. Fresh from sold-out headline tours across North America and Europe, the singer will bring her ballet-influenced live show to Australian audiences alongside her Laneway debut.

Elsewhere, Grammy-nominated producer and PC Music co-founder Danny L Harle will showcase material from his new album, Cerulean, at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on February 16th and Melbourne’s Croxton on February 18th.

Jane Remover will bring their boundary-pushing digital pop to Australia with the ‘Live Exhibit Tour’, including dates in Sydney and Melbourne alongside previously announced appearances in Perth and Adelaide. Their February 10th show at Perth’s The Rechabite has already sold out.

The announcement also delivers a strong contingent of emerging Irish talent.

Post-punk outfit Bleech 9:3 will make their Australian debut with shows at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne’s Night Cat, while Dublin’s Gurriers will arrive armed with their second album, Nobody’s Coming To Save You, and fellow Irish rockers Florence Road will bring their Cranberries-esque alternative rock to Australia following the success of their EP, Spring Forward.

British singer-songwriter and two-time BRIT Award nominee Rachel Chinouriri will also perform headline shows in both cities, following her second studio album, I think I spoke too soon.

Berlin’s horsegiirL returns with a new live show celebrating her debut album nature is healing, and LA rapper-producer rommulas will make his Australian debut with a genre-blurring mix of hyperpop, reggaeton and hip hop.

Hyperpop artist Tiffany Day will make her Australian debut with dates in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne, although her Perth show has already sold out.

Meanwhile, Violet Grohl will bring material from her debut release, Be Sweet To Me, to intimate shows at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne’s Night Cat.

Other sideshows just announced include MUNA, with a ‘Gets So Ho Tour” exclusive show at Melbourne’s Forum on February 15th, and Rico Nasty, with sideshows at Sydney’s Metro on February 9th and Melbourne’s Max Watts on February 14th. Both artists are presented by Frontier Touring.

As previously reported by Rolling Stone AU/NZ, the festival’s 22nd edition will be headlined by Fontaines D.C. and Hayley Williams, alongside a lineup featuring Slayyyter, MUNA, Ninajirachi, Rico Nasty, DIIV and more.

Fontaines D.C. will return to Laneway for the first time in four years, bringing new material from their forthcoming album, Dopamine Chamber, while Williams will make her first Australian festival appearances as a solo artist with an extended performance billed as ‘The Hayley Williams Show’.

The 2027 festival will kick off at Sydney’s Centennial Park on Friday, February 12th, before heading to Brisbane Showgrounds the following day. Laneway will then return to its longtime Melbourne home at Flemington Park on Friday, February 19th, before wrapping up at Auckland’s Western Springs on Sunday, February 21st.

Next year’s edition will be a noticeably smaller affair geographically, with Adelaide and Perth both dropped from the touring schedule. When announcing the change, organisers cited the logistical demands of staging multiple festivals across Australia and New Zealand in such a short period.

Pre-sales for the newly announced Handsome Tours sideshows begin Thursday, November 5th, with general tickets available from Friday, November 6th, at staggered times. Tickets for horsegiirL’s shows will go on presale November 11th, followed by general sale on November 12th.
