Following a couple of existing lineup changes, Laneway Festival have just upped the ante with their latest lineup drop.

A first of its kind Girls Rock! specially curated stage will now be at Laneway across Australia. It features a rotating lineup of female, trans and gender diverse musicians. They’ve all cut their teeth at Girls Rock! camps across the country.

Girls Rock! advocate Courtney Barnett is leading the way in Melbourne, with Alex Lahey headlining the Sydney stage. Barnett loved the program so much, that upon receiving her The Age Music Victoria prize, she donated it to the organisation.

Other additions to the lineup include Jungle Cuffs, Alex the Astronaut, and Georgia Maq (of Camp Cope).

“We’re beyond excited and can’t believe that we get to play,” said Evie Vlah, of Jungle Cuffs. She continues, “Not only do we get to play Laneway, but we get to share the stage with so many powerful ladies whilst representing an initiative that means so much to us all! Girls Rock 4EVA!”
