The Lanie Lane Australian Tour 2013 has been announced and the award-winning singer-songwriter is ready to play her first live shows for the year in a series of intimate dates for the Hello Spring Tour.
Performing in stripped-back mode, Lanie Lane will play a swag of brand new tracks and old favourites before heading into to the studio to record her much anticipated second album, the follow-up to her gold selling record, To The Horses.
The success of To The Horses was built largely upon the musician’s ability to play intimate shows, often with no amplification or PA, in front of audience who were close enough to feel as much a part of the show as they were listeners and observers. They were an all-inclusive affair. These return shows will see Lanie Lane reconnect with old friends on and off stage to showcase her unique and fantastic voice, new songs, old songs and the charisma and warmth that made us all sit up and take notice the first time around.
This is the first opportunity for Lanie to play the new songs she has been working on since taking a well-earned break from touring at the end of 2012.
“It really feels like I’m coming into my own springtime” says the performer. “I’m looking forward to coming out of this hibernation, to be on the stage, to re-connect with everyone. The new songs I have written have evolved into something very new for me, more personal, meaningful and dear to my heart than any other collection of songs I’ve written in my life. I hope people will be excited to hear them and open to grow with me.”
Lanie Lane and her band will tour the nation throughout September, taking in stages at venues at Adelaide, Mebourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
