In completely dreadful news, Lil Uzi Vert has removed the $24 million teardrop diamond he had implanted on his forehead.

The Eternal Awake rapper had the custom pink Elliot Eliantte diamond surgically implanted on his forehead back in January.

“I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now,” Uzi shared at the time. “This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face.”

Mere days after getting the rock implanted, Lil Uzi Vert revealed that the diamond incision was starting to bleed and that he would have to have it removed.

The instalment of the stone was a real feat of piercing engineering and involved a special mounting clip that locked into place. Despite how close the gem was to Uzi’s brain, a representative for Elliot Eliantte told Rolling Stone the piercing was “as safe as any other piercing.”

“As long as you maintain it well and have good upkeep, it’s perfectly fine,” he added. We made sure that prior to getting anything done that Uzi brought someone in to consult on everything. We didn’t just do this randomly.”

After embellishing his forehead for months it seems as though Uzi has finally bid adieu to his jewel. A video of the rapper in Miami this weekend past has surfaced and his forehead is as barren as the desolate surface of the moon. Also, if you were ever toying with the idea of having a quarter-million-dollar diamond implanted into your cranium, you’ll be pleased to know that the scarring is minimal.
