I don’t think I’ve ever respected someone as much as I respect Lil Yachty. The 21-year-old rapper just took a huge steaming dump on the legacy of fine-dining. We’ve heard rumours that Heston Blumenthal has handed in his resignation, and Ainsley Harriot has gone into hiding.
Lil Yachty was at a dinner celebrating the 40th birthday of Quality Control Music‘s CEO, Pierre ‘P’ Thomas, in Las Vegas, when he decided that nothing on the menu could satiate his needs. Note that the menu offered a degustation of fresh sushi, wagyu beef, orange chicken, miso-glazed sea bass and lobster wontons.
“Welp… I don’t [eat] anything on this menu…” Yachty bravely declared on an Instagram story. So Yachty did the only things that Yachty could: tapped into his greatest gastronomy desires and ordered himself a Hot ‘N Spicy McChicken sandwich to the club. “Thank you Uber Eats,” he wrote.
A dinner fit for a king. You can check out the series of events that unfolded below.
Back in 2017, Lil Yachty was embroiled in controversy when some eagle-eyed Skegss fans noticed that the artwork for the band’s debut EP 50 Push Ups For A Dollar, was ripped off by Lil Yachty and US rapper Reese on their collaborative track ‘Do It.’
Skegss confronted Reese on Instagram, and posed the most Skegss argument ever “Why did you steal our artwork? Shit photoshop job.” Reese responded, claiming that he had no idea who Skegss are and that he doesn’t design his album art. “1. I dont know who the fuck you are 2. I dont design graphic art … Cool story bro.”
