With sound that harkens back to the alt-rock sound of the early ’90s, when bands like Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, and The Clean reigned supreme, paired with a fun-in-the-sun West Coast mentality, The Courtneys are quickly generating momentum on the back of their new self-titled eight-track album.

Packed with clever, fuzzed-up jangle pop tunes, the album is the perfect soundtrack to the summer, filled with tight musicianship, sharp hooks, and dynamic songcraft. Meanwhile, with influences like Eddy Current Suppression Ring and Flying Nun, their live show is an energetic and unforgettable spectacle.

Thanks to the legends at Bone Soup and Future Popes, the trio are currently in the country tearing up Australia and NZ, and to celebrate they’ve released a very special edition tour 7″ featuring: Side 1: ‘Lost Boys’ and side 2: ‘Mars Attacks’ – check out the tracks below and be sure not to miss ’em before they jet off!
