Following on from the eagerly anticipated ‘Aerial Love’, the first single to be taken from Daniel Johns’ forthcoming solo EP, the Silverchair legend has now unveiled the second single from the Aerial Love EP, a soaring and soulful tune named ‘Preach’.
Johns has described ‘Preach’ as the artistic cornerstone of the new EP and thus his new career. “I’m prouder of it than anything I’ve ever written”, says Johns of the song, which was co-written and co-produced with underground electronic duo Damn Moroda.

According to Johns, the track is a bold and raw public confession, which answers the question “Where have you been?!” better than any bio possibly could. The track is marked by the return of the 35-year-old’s stentorian falsetto and sharp, soulful production.
Meanwhile, the Aerial Love EP is slated for release on Friday, 13th March. “The EP is not a single plus three bonus tracks – it’s four songs designed to be heard as a complete piece of work”, Johns explains.
